The workshops are relaxed, social and easy, even when you’ve never made a candle before. The fiddly work has already been done, from sourcing beautiful materials and testing fragrance combinations to curating a menu of scents that are fun to explore.

All you need to do is settle in and trust your nose.

Choose, blend and pour

Start by choosing a resuable vessel from a collection of stemware and drinking-inspired pieces. Then explore the fragrance menu and select a blend that feels like you — fresh and citrusy, deep and woody, floral, sweet or something completely unexpected.

You’ll be guided through each step, from measuring and blending your fragrance to pouring the candle. There’s no technical knowledge required and no pressure to get it “right”. Some of the best combinations come from simply following your nose.

Settle in while it sets

Once your candle is poured, sit back with a glass of sparkling and something sweet while it sets.

Candle making is a chance to slow down, try something creative and have a little fun with fragrance. You’ll leave with a candle poured into a beautiful vessel you’ll want to keep, wash out and use again after the final burn.

Come solo or make it a group thing

Come on your own, bring a friend or gather a group for something a little different. Candle Bar is also available for birthdays, hens, team get-togethers and private celebrations.
