What is Candle Bar?

Candle Bar is a fun, hands-on candle pouring experience in Brunswick. You’ll choose your vessel, explore the scent menu, blend your fragrance and pour your own candle to take home.

Is it a workshop?

Kind of — but less classroom, more cosy neighbourhood bar. Think candles, conversation, sweet treats and a relaxed fun session.

What do I make?

You’ll make your own coco-soy candle in a keepsake vessel, with guidance from start to finish.

What’s included?

Every session includes your candle vessel, fragrance blending and guided pouring, so you can create your own coco-soy candle to take home. Depending on the experience you book, extras may include cake, chocolate-dipped berries, complimentary bubbles or a non-alcoholic drink.

What experiences are available?

Choose from a quick Walk-In & Pour (BYO snacks & pre-wicked jar), a Sweet Treat & Pour with chocolate-dipped berries, or the full Candle Bar experience with cake, bubbles and time to settle in. Bespoke sessions and private bookings are also available by appointment.

Do I need any experience?

Not at all. Candle Bar is beginner-friendly and made for anyone who wants to try something fun, creative and a little different.

Who is Candle Bar good for?

Birthdays, dates, team catch-ups, hens, client hosting, solo treats or a cosy indoor activity with friends.

Can I buy candles while I’m there?

Yes. Candle Bar sits inside the Wick-Zen store, so you can shop small-batch candles, gifts and scent rituals while you’re here.

Can I book Candle Bar privately?

Yes. Private bookings are available for small groups, celebrations and bespoke events.

Where is Candle Bar?

You’ll find us at 825 Sydney Road, Brunswick, inside the beautiful old Tram Depot building with Flowers for Olive & Eve and Made of Earth Pottery.

Is it easy to get to?

Very. Tram 19 stops right out the front on Sydney Road, and there’s free off-street parking nearby.
