When a candle delivery turned into something more

Yesterday I dropped off some candles and something unexpected happened. I was invited in.
I’d planned to leave them on the porch. It was a Sunday afternoon after all and I didn’t want to impose. But instead, I was warmly welcomed inside.
They showed me where their very first candle, Opa sat proudly on the foyer table, greeting everyone who entered. The new ones were headed for the study.
To see something I made not only used but cherished in someone’s home... it was deeply moving.
A candle I poured is now part of their everyday. Lighting up moments. Bringing calm. Just being there. Incredible.
It left me feeling honoured, grateful, and honestly, a little teary.
So if you're reading this, thank you. For making space. For the kindness. For reminding me why I started Wick-Zen.
